A PicNYC in NYC
Governors Island will kick off summer Memorial Day weekend with the inaugural 5 Boro PicNYC this weekend. Staged at the tree-lined Colonel’s Row, 5 Boro PicNYC will showcase small food vendors and craft beer from all five boroughs in NYC. Governors Island will be open every Saturday and Sunday from May 26 to September 30.

A Free Dose of New York Phil
Want some classical music… for free? See Conductor Alan Gilbert conduct the New York Phil at this free concert. The concert will be held at the Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine, and seating is first-come, first-served. Music will also be piped out onto the Cathedral’s Pulpit Green, weather permitting.

Memorial Day Parade in Somerville this Sunday! The parade departs from in front of City Hall, proceeding up Highland Avenue through Davis Square, along Holland Street and onto Broadway. It will end at Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery on Broadway in Teele Square. Join this ceremony and honor the veterans
