Monet’s Garden
Take a walk through the garden that inspired one of the greatest artists in history, Claude Monet. New York Botanical Garden recreates his idyllic garden in Giverny, France, by transforming the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory into a “floral masterpiece of diverse plants, bold colors, and dramatic design”.
Along with the garden, you will be able to enjoy some of Monet’s paintings of the garden and other rare artificats such as artist’s palette, bills of sale for his plants, letters, historic photographs and more.

Since 2001, the Film Society of Lincoln Center has showcased Italian films and filmmakers every June. The society has many programs, but you gotta watch the most popular one called “New Italian Cinema.” The program features established directors and actors such as Ermanno Olmi, Sergio Castellitto, Mario Monicelli, and Donatella Finocchiaro. An NYC Art & Culture Crash Course
Interested in sampling a variety of museums over the course of three hours? Seven museums offer free admission in the 2012 version of the Museum Mile Festival.
