Start the weekend (or week) right: Best happy hour deals for how to meet people in your city

June 7, 2013/in Funny & Videos /by Guest Blogger

The following article is a guest post, courtesy of Catherine Nguyen

It’s best the hour of your day. It’s the happiest hour of your day. Hell, why should you limit yourself to one hour? If you’re new to the city and are looking to meet people, hit up these happy hour deals to get in with the locals.

San Francisco
Johns Colins, Financial District
Happy hour runs from 5-7pm on Monday-Thursday, and 4-7pm on Friday, with $2 off domestic beers, $4 off draft beers, $5 well drinks and usually accompanied by a hip-hop DJ. Though located in the financial district, Johns Colins is frequented by many SOMA-ers and SF natives for a diverse crowd.
Bloodhound, SOMA
According to Yelpers, drinks here are notoriously strong, but combined with a rustic vibe of antlers and a game of Big Buck Hunter, the happy hour experience will keep you coming back for more. They’re dog-friendly too, so maybe you’ll get to meet some bloodhounds while you’re here!
