You’ll continue to receive the best Bagels in your area, based on mutual interest, attraction, education, geography—the factors we know our members truly care about. However, on top of that, your Bagels will only be those who already expressed interest in you. That’s right! No more dating games. Only guys who like you.

Why are we making this change? First, we wanted to give women the final say on who gets to engage in a conversation with them, encouraging full control over their dating life. Second, we’ve become fed up with all the swiping and ghosting, and wanted to make sure your time and energy would be focused on guys who are serious about taking the next step.

1. When will the change happen?
The change is effective today at noon. Due to the algorithm change, you may not have a Bagel on your “Today’s Bagel” page. If this is the case, we suggest you go to “Discover” and make the first move by Taking a Bagel for FREE!
2. What will happen to all my Bagels from the past?
You will still be able to see them in your history!
3. Will I lose my open chats with the previous Bagels?
No, your open chats will not be affected by #LadiesChoice.
4. How many Bagels will I get each day? Do I still get a Bagel every day?
The number of Bagels you get each day will vary, depending on how many Bagels like you!  This means that your profile is more important than ever!
5. What if I want to like my Bagel first?
You can always like your Bagel first by going to Discover and Taking a Bagel for yourself!
6. Can I still Give Bagels to my girl friends or Take Bagels for myself?
Yes! The changes only pertain to Bagels you will receive in Today’s Bagels section. The Discover section of the app will remain the same. In the Discover, you will be able to Give Bagels to your friends. You can also make the first move on a Bagel by Taking someone for yourself!
7. Under #LadiesChoice, will my Bagels all fall within my preferences?
Yes. We will still honor your preferences. The Bagels you will receive in Today’s Bagel section will be men who meet all your preferences AND have already liked you.
