Mystery Gift for Android

With Mystery Gift, you have a chance of getting awesome rewards like free Takes, free Woos, more Beans, even a Starbucks gift card or a romantic date on us. All the gifts are always valued more than the price to unwrap. You can unwrap as many gifts as you want. There is no limit!
Please note: This feature is only available on the Android app, but will be open to iOS soon.
Where can I find Mystery Gift?
You will see a gift box icon on the top right corner on your Today’s Bagel page. Click on it and you can unwrap one of the five gifts upon clicking the button at the bottom. When you’d like to exit out this page, click on the back button to return back to your Today’s Bagel page.
How can I use my gifts?
If you get a free Take, it should be automatically applied to your next attempt to Take. It will show as free instead of the Bean price. Same applies to free Rematch, free Woo and free Open Sesame.
If you get more Beans, your Bean count will be reflected right away.
If I win a Starbucks gift card or the free date, how do I get those prizes?
We will send an email to your Coffee Meets Bagel email address with detailed information about this within a few days.

Send a Woo

Send a Woo to get noticed faster and let your Bagel know how special they are! Each day when you have a new Bagel, you can Woo them if you really like them.
How do I send a Woo?
Tap “Woo” on the lower right corner of the LIKE button to activate the Woo screen. Click the plus sign on the lower right corner to add as many Woos as you want. Keep track of how many Woos you add in the upper right corner of the screen. To the left of the Woo button, you’ll see the amount of Beans deducted per Woo. Then, just click Woo to send!
What happens when I get a Woo?
If your Daily Bagel has sent you Woos, you’ll immediately see the Woo screen with all your Woos! Just click the “X” on the top left corner to leave the screen and view your Bagel’s profile. You can also see all the Woos they sent underneath the Like or Pass buttons.
Can I send a Woo if my Bagel has already sent a Woo to me?
Yes! Let your Bagel know that you think they’re special too! They’ll see that you Wooed them in their History.
Can I send a Woo to past Bagels?
Sorry, you can only send a Woo to your current Daily Bagel. If you have Bonus Bagels, you will have to Woo your current one before you click Like and move on to the next one.
Can I Woo a Bagel in Give & Take?
For now, Woos can only be sent to your current Daily Bagel.
Can I Woo someone I’ve Passed?
Once you Pass on a Bagel, you will not be able to Woo.
Can I Woo after I click Like?
You can only send a Woo before you click Like!

We’ve been testing a feature that lets women choose the number of Today’s Bagels they receive each day. But we realized that the feature wasn’t working as intended, and many users were confused by it. Overall, it was causing our users extra stress — and who needs that?

 

We have now removed this feature. Instead, our super-smart algorithm will determine the perfect number of Bagels for you each day, and you can focus on what matters — finding quality matches!

Updates to Your Premium Subscription

As a Premium subscriber on iOS, we know unlimited Woo (Sending Flowers) & Open Sesame (Seeing Mutual Friends) are a big part of your benefits and we wanted to let you know how some upcoming changes will affect your subscription.
Woo will be updated to a more valuable feature that allows you to “skip the line” for Bagels who have a lot of other profiles to view. After you Like someone with a long queue, a screen will pop-up with an option to send flowers to get seen faster. When using this feature, you will be seen and matched an average of 3x faster! You will have unlimited Skip the Line as part of your Premium subscription.
 

 

Due to changing Facebook permissions, CMB will unfortunately no longer be able to show you all the mutual friends you and your Bagels share on Facebook. Open Sesame will slowly be removed from the app as Facebook removes the ability to use this data.
To make up for the gradual removal of Open Sesame, starting on your next renewal date you will get 3 additional Takes each month. We heard from our customers that the most useful features offer more opportunities to Connect. We want you to get real value from your subscription, and we hope to provide that with more Takes each month!

Open Sesame will slowly be removed from the app as Facebook removes the ability to use this data. Second, based on feedback from subscribers, moving forward Photo Report will no longer be included in your Premium subscription.
